West Coast Swing Social Dance and All-Levels Workshop

Everyone is welcome; no partner or dance experience required.

Schedule:
7:00pm – 8:00pm: All-Levels Workshop by Journey Song from Westie Inspiration
8:00pm – 10:00pm: Social Dance

Entry: $15, cash at the door or e-transfer

West Coast Swing is a modern partner dance, dancers choose to either lead or follow. Often danced to popular music, West Coast Swing evolved from Lindy Hop to a smooth, elastic dance with a focus on connection, musicality, and creativity.

The Nanaimo West Coast Swing Collective hosts social dances every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month at Wellington Hall and a lesson series in Lantzville on Thursdays.
