River Concerts: El Balcon

El Balcón is a collective that composes and arranges as one. They came together in the culturally rich atmosphere of Montreal with a common love for traditional music from around the world and a desire to explore new possibilities in acoustic sound and groove. As each of the 6 individuals learned and grew as musicians, so did the band evolve from being one that arranges traditional tunes, to being one that composes innovative original music, whilst never losing the acoustic spirit of the traditional music that inspires them.
