River Concerts: Big Little Lions

Big Little Lions are set to take the stage at Spirit Square at 7:00 PM as part of the free River Concert Series!
This award winning folk pop duo has been making waves since winning a JUNO Award in 2014 for a collaborative project that sparked their partnership. Despite living in different countries, Paul Otten and Helen Austin have built a reputation for tight harmonies, heartfelt songwriting, and a sound that feels as cohesive as if they were writing in the same room.
With six albums under their belt and accolades including CFMA Ensemble of the Year, Americana Song of the Year at the Independent Music Awards, and the John Lennon Songwriting Competition Song of the Year, Big Little Lions are known for crafting songs that connect deeply with audiences. Their music has been featured on CBC’s Top 20 and on popular shows like q and Vinyl Cafe.
