Get ready for the tastiest weekend of the summer! Comox Valley RibFest 2025, organized by Rotary and sponsored by Peninsula Co-op, sizzles into Village Park in Cumberland from Friday, August 22 to Sunday, August 24. Entry is by donation with proceeds going towards local and international initiatives.

This three-day Food & Music festival brings together local musicians, a kid’s zone with bouncy castles and food. An Artisan Alley for all your shopping needs. Delicious food from seven local food truck vendors, as well as five professional Canadian rib teams competing for bragging rights. Come and join one of the largest music venues in the Valley this summer!

Event Highlights:
• 17 live local music acts on the Entertainment Stage
• New Artisans Alley featuring 14 local creators
• Kids Zone with three bouncy castles – completely free
• Five Rib Teams; Boss Hoggs, Gator BBQ, Grizzly BBQ, Prairie Smoke & Spice and Smoke dem Bones
• Media Sauce Challenge: Radio stations compete Friday – judged by the Rib teams!
• Sunday Ribbers Competition: Local dignitaries judge, visitors vote for People’s Choice
• A Saloon with local beverages from Cumberland Brewery, Land & Sea Brewery, Ace Brewery, 40 Knots Winery and Merridale Cidery.

Recognized as the “Greenest Festival” in the Comox Valley by the Regional District. Last year the event diverted two tonnes of waste from landfill.

The festival runs Friday and Saturday 11am-9pm, Sunday 11am-7pm. Free parking and bike check available.
