We’re thrilled to welcome you to four days of incredible music in the heart of downtown Nanaimo this June! The Island Notes Chamber Music Festival brings together inspiring musicians and passionate audiences for unforgettable performances in unique and intimate venues across the city.

Duo Camassia – featuring Marilyn Rummel & Danel Cove
A lyrical and elegant pairing of harp and flute, this duo blends shimmering textures and soulful melodies.
Friday, June 13 @ 7 pm – Black Rabbit Bistro Attic
Cellovista – featuring Alexandra Lee & Amy Laing
Two cellos, one captivating sound. Rich harmonies and deep resonance fill this intimate venue.
Saturday, June 14 @ 2 pm – St. Paul’s Anglican Church
Trio Serenade – Shante vanHorlick, Michael McKinnon & Scott Knight
A unique blend of voice, guitar, and piano, this trio weaves music, humour, and heartfelt storytelling into one memorable performance.

The Chamber Guitar Project – Peter Lang, Sarah Oliver & Alan Rinehart
This violin, viola, and guitar trio brings fresh colour and dynamic interplay to chamber music traditions.
