AN AFTERNOON OF CELTIC SONGS & STORIES & a PHC FUNDRAISER/ SILENT AUCTION

A. Host/ Vocalist/ Storyteller honours his feisty, fun Irish/ Scottish Father, Ivan Christie who happily lived until almost 101 years, with fun stories of his life on Gabriola Island.
B. Host/ Vocalist/ Storyteller honours his Irish/ Scottish Ancestors with beautiful and humourous Songs and Stories of the joys and hard struggles of these Celts against British persecution, poverty, losses through wars and horrific famines.
C. The People for a Healthy Community (PHC) Fundraiser/ Silent Auction is especially due to a huge 3 X increase in Gabriolans needing direct food in the past year, plus people who came once a month must now come 3 X a month.
